Sounds to me like you have a tactile or kinaesthetic learning style. There's also another personality typing system called the Kolbe Index, which sorts skills in a business. Gathering information, structuring systems based on that information, being innovative, and the odd one out there (but still valuable to consider) is handling space and mechanics. I think those types are Fact Finder, Follow Through, Quick Start, and Implementor.
I've never taken the official test, but I'm guessing that I'm a high fact finder (talkative and detailed, rather than simplifier), a mediocre seesaw on the follow-through and quick start (conforming to a system versus messy creativity), and I'm also a very high implementor and I need to run my hands over everything.
