For me, writing about love is very difficult. Unlike some of my favorite authors, love is just a no-go topic for me. I am in love, but putting that emotion in words is somehow difficult. I guess that there really is no adjective that can do this feeling justice.

Do you write about love?

I try to physicalize it in feelings of the body. I've been in love, too. Butterflies in the stomach is a cliche that doesn't apply, so I try to really pay attention.

Apart from that, I try to show it in the actions of the characters. If there's anything that I've learned from being in fan communities, it's that Shippers (readers who see a romantic connection between characters who aren't necessarily written that way) are going to project romance into anything and everything, so I don't even need to spell it out. They could hate each other and people will go, "Ooh, chemistry!" They could bump into each other and not even spill any drinks in sexy places, and somebody will go, "I ship it!"

I think love is my number one topic when I wrote, so definitely no issues here. But if you're meaning convincingly then I understand what you mean, sometimes I wonder if I am convincing or if it's like a Disney movie ha ha.

Haha. Yes, I meant convincingly. I think that I can write a love story, but it's not too real - more like a fairy tale. I try to describe the feeling I get when I am in love, but it doesn't really translate well and ends up just being too cheesy.
