LOL I know the feeling. I'm CRAVING my graphics tablet and it's not here . I hardly used it before LOL.

Wait - you moved to Australia? And I missed this? No wonder I came back to find things had been quiet...

Yeah I was SOOOOOOOO busy packing and since I got here it's not been any less busier. At least now the business has halved itself. I've gotten most of the stuff I need now it's down to bank, drivers license, and job....instead of birth certificate, medicare card, centerlink assistance, getting forms certified (USA: notarized), getting settled and unpacked, then the bank and etc from the list above.

That's not even half of it. It's taken me sooo long to do stuff and people are getting mad at me cause they don't realise I had NOTHING to prove who I was or that I was staying and EVERTHING required something else which wanted something else.... The ONLY reason I wasnt royally fucked is because I had a childrens bank account and I asked them to send me a statement so I could prove my address....and now I have to upgrade it to get at it anyway lol. That and the birth and death office did a legal exception for me and gave me my birth certificate which got the bank and etc rolling .

My parents understand cause they've gone through it with me....but the rest of the family thinks I'm being slack .

Relocating is never easy... relocating and virtually having to start from scratch is even harder.
You will get it all done eventually, dont let those who cant or arent helping get to you.

Sounds like its been a really difficult time! I hate moving period, and that just sounds worse. I'm glad to hear your getting settled in though. Good luck on a job!

Yeah we're actually going to have to get help getting some of our furniture and stuff. I mean we're doing it but when it comes to the big things like beds, washing machines, and fridges we need a little bit of a hand you know? It's alright though. We're hoping to move out of here (parents house) soon and get our own house....but we're going to get a bed first. I don't want to sleep on the floor anymore lol.

It's not too bad. I tend to view everything as an adventure so it's not as hard on me as it could be .

Viewing everything as an adventure is a great way to do it
