Ok so while ago i needed to banners to promote my site so lots of work and thanks to a script I made one image out of as many images as I want, so main image is:



this is made up of 12 other images


this was as at the time I had cloud motif on my site, also i thought it looked cool

this is actuallly updated from what it originally was but the catbg's on my site had these sketch images so I thought id make a banner with them

This one indicates my love for nature

no story behind this one just liked it when i made it

Initially this was yellow and said SNP SUPPORTER but i changed it last week to the vortex, like my mind stuff come into it to be lost for ever.

This goes with the theme I am working on in long term called Splat (see topic created after this)

Cause I love the simpsons

no reason I just liked it

you may see them but there are actually butteryfly's on this yet again cause i like nature, also wanted a more female orientated one to show my site is for females aswell

I think the banner with tribal art looks the best. Maybe because I'm a tribal art's fan too Also, the one with Jim Morrison doesn't look bad.

I was fooling around and made this, and I love it dont know why.

This looks good to me. Just one suggestion. Perhaps if the words were in a slightly more contrasting color, then they might stand out a wee bit. Don't make them stand out too much, though. Kind of keep them in the same general color scheme but maybe further to the end of the spectrum, one side or the other.

tbh this is a dead topic now, I will be removing these from my server in not so distant future, but thanks for the views if I make more I will look into different styles.

Anyway, I k now it's a moot point to pick favorites on this one considering you're going to be removing them. I just wanted to say that with future banners, though, you need to be careful with using images that aren't yours. As in, using the Bart Simpson image could get you in trouble using it because you don't have the rights to it, so just be aware of that.

To Banner Inquiry Guy,

Hand's down! That dark blue banner located between the thinly detailed font colored  blue and green and a beige brown one. In your indication underneath the banner, there is a note referencing to your initial design for the banner had a yellow color execution.

Word’s that describe the banner I am indicating: dark blue, cursive, deep blue, left lighter blue icon, icon is not a certain structure or symbol, and is located within the indications I point to below.

I am a user tester, product guru, and basically the online consumer spending guinea pig Messiah. My internal intuitive little gift in this area has a mental sort of alarm that usually say's, "That One!"

When it comes to the area of consumer market intuition I am a good focus panel representation of data versus a panel member. My opinion is solely based on the ability to be incorrect on my applicable objectives. I have not been wrong so far though, and don’t see it likely.

If your wondering, or reading this still; and still pondering a second choice possibility then I have a suggestion. The backup banner I would choose does not apply in this case due to the fact that it's the blue or all the other choices centralize into one second choice. If you initiate my advice and it executes successfully please come back and input that outcome.

This is one thing im well aware of, and I deal with this regulary at SMF, using the bart image as the basis, as its a known image and is widely used and referenced they generally dont have any issue with people using, now under the DMCA that they would fall first thing they can do is ask me to remove the image, if they did this then I would be happy to, after a set time if they had issue they would issue a DMCA notice to myself legally demanding I remove it, if that fails then they would contact my host, now my host is a good friend of mine and he has permission to go into the folder he knows where it is located and remove the image without asking.  As I said I know my host and I trust my host just like Bunny and I know he host and he is a good friend of us both.

Jessi is right, you should be careful regardless. You wouldn't like it if someone used one of your pictures or your poetry without crediting you and it's sort of the same thing here.

It's a little different when it's common enough to know but they still have branding and you might find that they don't actually like their images being used.

As for the banners themselves I hope you don't remove them, because lots of people can have a look and enjoy them later if you dont.
