Hello

My name is Debz and I'm a 21 year old aspiring writer who just finished a degree in Medical Science. I've always loved writing, but it was only recently that I decided to combine the two things I love and aim to be a science writer. I'd love to write for a top magazine like New Scientist. In terms of more creative writing, I find poetry to be a good outlet for complex emotions. I tend to write quite dark stuff with deep emotions, and sometimes not suitable for the younger audience.

Recently, I started crafting and I now make jewellery. It is a fantastic break from science to do something that requires considerably less thought. I've also dabbled in photography and drawing over the years. So yeah, lots of creative stuff.
