Slam Poetry Piece: Ninja

One of my best, and most performed pieces. I need to redo it thought because i forgot a stanza, but my mom came home and i couldn't do it. ; Hopefully i'll be able to redo it though within the next few days.

And so this is what Slam Poetry looks like. Albeit not very good slam poetry but slam poetry nonetheless. ;

Poem:

I am so Ninja
My clothes are so black that even night can't find me
I can sneak up behind you while standing right in front of you
My breath gives birth to shadows
My gaze is like a Kamehameha wave that peals away at the cracks in your skin until all thats left is your clear soul that shows me all that you are
Because everyone knows Ninjas are awesome like that
Because i am ninja

I am so Ninja
When people ask for my occupation i give no hesitation
Then when their eyes go wide and their lips move to utter the words "no way"
I've already Falcon Punched their face
The last thing they hear is me going "Yeah way!"
Because everyone knows Ninjas have obtained a Real Ultimate Power like that
Because i am Ninja

I am so Ninja
I am so powerful i drop-kicked Chuck Norris, Bruce Lee, Jet Li, Jackie Chan, the Dark King, the Demon Lord, and the Evil Wizard...all at the same time
And i made it in time to rescue that hot chick up in the tower
Because everyone Ninjas are good like that
Because i am Ninja

I am so Ninja
My body is so at peace hippies worship the very ground i stand on
Because after every step i take flowers are born
And those flowers are used to make Ninja potions that can cure cancer, diabetes, and AIDs with just 1 drop
When i meditate the world folds around me
My soul climbs out of my body
Surfing the time stream
Doing 360's around World Leaders
and bending them to my will
Because everyone knows Ninjas have obtained an inner piece like that
Because i am Ninja

I am so Ninja
All of the elements are at my command.
One second the ocean would be frozen over so i could walk to Japan
And the next my hands would be on fire to cook my newly kill Komodo Dragon
And mountains are made so i can sit with the clouds
And lightning strikes down to power my iPod after it did so i can play my battle music.
Because Ninjas don't wear orange jumpsuits like that
Because i am Ninja

I am so Ninja
Most people think that Ninjas don't exist
Or that they aren't alive anymore
They mock and jeer based on the sole fact that they think my dream is unobtainable.
It's thanks to me that the word "Ninja" has become an insult
Like my sword was ripped from my sheath and pressed so close against my throat that i can see the reflection of all my mistakes in the blade
People ask me "why do you like Ninjas so much"
And i want to throw these words at them
Throw this poem at them
I want to break free from this shell that is limited by normal laws and go into my ninja form that is so awesome people are blinded by my epicness
But the only thing that i can do, or even say, is
"Got to believe in something, right?"

Because i am Ninja.

Sorry about that. Yeah, the audio was kind of crappy. And for some reason i go into this weird accent when i perform.
