The longer I?m involved with the book cover industry, the more often I see things that just blow my mind.

The self-publishing boom has led to a corresponding boom in book cover artists, many of whom have very little artistic sense at all. But that particular rant is for another day. No, today I?m talking about designers at all levels- including the so-called professionals who work for the major publishing houses. Including people like me....
