I've been having a great week! My brother and I decided we wanted to do a Harry Potter marathon before we watch the new one on Friday. So...since that means 6 movies, we're spreading it out! Yesterday we watched the first today, today the 3rd and 4th, tomorrow the 5th and 6th, and we have tickets for the new one on Friday!

Yes, I'm a geek. Did I mention I've been working on a vampire bracelet this whole time? Muwuwahaha - pics later!

On a random note - "Muwahahaha" seems to be my favorite phrase right now.

The great part? So far I've written every day this week! Sometimes having lots I'm doing inspires me to work harder. Ok, most of the time. I'm a procrastinator. If I have no pressure I have a hard time working. Crazy huh? Anyway, it's looking like I might meet my goals this week! Woohoo!!!

AnD - because I'm in geeky mode, I decided to write my first fan-fic ever. Meri and I are going to team up to write a fan fic based on something we've been joking about for awhile. Introducing a magical arts and crafts class to Hogwarts

Well, it was mostly roleplay ficlets, but yeah. Let's see... Discworld (had two of these characters), Valdemar, Outstretched Shadow, LotR (one character and a bunch of parodies), Shakespeare, LOST (one character I wrote ficlets as and two more I just roleplayed), Hitchhiker's... I know there were more... oh, one was an original story created by a friend that I wrote ficlets as a character from... That may be all of them, but I feel like I'm missing a fandom in here somewhere.

Oh, good. I was hoping you'd say that. Although I realized that it should technicality be 9 since I have two characters that aren't *quite* mine, but aren't *not* mine, either. (As in, "friggin' DM, just let me have total control over them already! I'll play nice!")

My best friend saw the movie at midnight last night (when it first came out), this morning, and is probably going to see it 7+ more times. She does that with movies she likes.

Problem is she knows the series so well she can line for line mimic the characters AND tell you where the bloopers are. Such as Hermione mouthing Harry's words (which just proves she's like Hermione in real life lol).

LOL! That sounds like me with the LotR movies! I think I saw TTT 12 times- my poor fiancé kept getting dragged there with me. 

And now I'm curious to see if I can catch Hermione doing that.

Since everyone is watching HP this week, I really really want to watch the Rifftrax again, but I only own one of the movies. Somehow I have to get my hands on the others- or at least the others that have been riffed (the first four, I think).

Let me know if you find a site that has them. I want to watch the Rifftrax too

Wow, the movie empire is coming to an end and I'm turning into a bigger fan than I ever was before That's ok, I'm no where NEAR as insane as this guy! (And my brother's the one who came up with that link, not me!)

Well, you can download the rifftrax, Ruthie- they're only a couple of bucks, and you already have the movies, right? So it'll only cost you the $4. You just sync it up on your laptop or speakers (Josh and I put it on an ipod and play it through my computer speakers- mostly because most of my copies of the movies we watch are VHS), and you'll have the Rifftrax forever, since it's an audio file.

Wow. Just, wow. I don't know whether to be impressed, amused, or frightened. (And I thought I was bad with my LotR obsession...) I'm sure he's probably a pretty normal guy, though- just playing that up so he can win the contest. I'm not going to pass judgment. Goodness knows that I have (and had- had to toss about a dozen tshirts when they fell apart) almost as much LotR memorabilia.

Then borrow the movies from her, silly! Or watch the Rifftrax with her. Josh and I have to rent most of the ones we watch since we don't own many movies.

LOL - that's what I'm doing this week! For some reason I thought that the rifftrax were like cartoons or something like that. I don't think I want to rewatch all 15 hours right now!

Ohhh, okay. Yeah, it's basically MST3k- it's on top of the movie.
