Nobody gets flamed in this forum, even in the debating section, and I like that. I use youthdebates.org (yes, by the name it's obvious that they set each other on fire) and whenever people answer a question they do it like this? Like, this is obviously the answer? And I use bluelight (ya, judge away) where they can't believe that you just asked that question because it's so obvious. Nobody should ask questions on a forum that's made to ask and answer questions obviously.

I like it here because you don't have to watch what you say, and everyone's not a complete asshole and you can relax. Maybe it's an artist thing. There's no point to this thread  thought I'd just show my thanks.

I'm glad you love it too!! I like the debate area especially because I get to learn different points of view. I can come across quite blunt sometimes but I hope people realise I play devils advocate a lot....mostly to fully understand someone else's position!

Artists can be both very sensitive and very insensitive. I have seen plenty of artists demanding their work be removed because someone criticised them, and I've also seen artists being completely insensitive to others even though they would not be happy if someone else said the same things to them. I think it's a matter of ego and confidence. I want everyone here to be confident in themselves, their art, and their style even if not everyone likes it (that's life!)....but I want people to remain open and honest with each other and not develop a giant ego that makes them think others are somehow inferior.

In the end we're all people and I think it's important we all treat each other equally and with respect .
