Title: [Lifeline part 2] Top 10 Events of My Life
Post by: Bunny on 09:29pm Mon, Oct 12, 2009
NUMBER TWO

I'd put some sort of quirk here, like how two is never as good as one and is always coming that one point short and how hard a life it must have but I'm not feeling so sarcastic anymore…

Amongst all the manipulation of feuding parents trying to win the love and choice of their children and rally them against the opposite, a few instances stood out. The one with the biggest impact was my mother telling us she refused to be a part time mother. She said if she couldn’t handle only seeing us on weekends, and having to hand us back afterwards. I wouldn’t have been able to either, so I understand her leaving (nature or nurture?!). She moved to Canada, and I've already explained that somewhere…

“She was chasing an internet love. I could have died if my grandfather wasn’t there. We went to a 3+ story high “viewing deck” and I saw the red leaf on the plane and knew my mother was leaving. It was my first heartbreak. I tried to climb over the rail to get to her…I had tunnel vision I guess, I saw the plane and wanted to get to it.  My grandfather grabbed my shirt and pulled me down, snapping me out of the tunnel vision. It was around 3am if I remember correctly. Blue sky, steal blue…no sun at that point.”

There it is!! Such a cute paragraph. That was my first heartbreak. The first time I'd felt the pain of a heart breaking.
