Heavily inspired by the short story 'The Songbirds of Pain' by Garry Kilworth
A narrative-style song I wrote and recorded for my friend's group project.

Don't judge the singing too much, I was trying to beat a deadline. It's basically a first draft. I'm pretty proud of the lyrics though.

The instrumental is from 'Pawn Shop Blues' by Lana Del Rey.

Hear them hymn sounds a bit odd, it's not a common use though it is correct. You could try hear their hymns if you want. It is technically correct just uncommon.
