I got selected,
 to be a possible MSP,
 For the Scottish Green party,
 Not the SNP.
 
 A month to relax,
 Before campaigning begins,
 Cannot celebrate in usual style,
 Due to the self-imposed exile!
 
 No sweets or cakes,
 Fast food or soft drinks,
 Or any alcohol,
 Shall pass my lips.
 
 I will celebrate in July,
 Exile will be over,
 Raki and Ouzo,
 Celebrate in style!
 
 I have been selected,
 For the regional list,
 Got to get in shape,
 and maybe tidy up abit.
