It is with happiness that I ascend
and get devoured by this hot air balloon.
Love is adventurous as a blimp,
soft and light as a soap bubble.

Wandering this youthful soap bubble
expecting me to cling lip after lip.
I see all your strengths,
virtues printed in pamphlets.

Viewing maps and contraptions,
your lines and brothels of innocence,
reasons to keep me close
and throw overboard this shortage.

This is the city where the child plays,
cheerful in Lisbon, the mosaic walks.
She knows love and knows the novel,
it holds to be fools in love.

Let us toast to childhood nostalgia
as we sailed down the river,
the old song praises the elderly Tejo
with piano chords and bass.

I love this one....but did you mean brothels? A brothel is where people go to pay someone to have sex with them lol.

No, I really meant brothels... "brothels of innocence" is an expression "bordéis de inocência" in Portuguese, it's an antithesis

What does it mean?

Well it's an antithesis, a brothel of innocence... usually girls that "work" in brothels are anything but "innocent".
