This was part of a creative writing project that I had to do before graduating:

Person: I talked to your mom last night, she blurted out that you were having an affair. I hate you. I don’t really appreciate the fact that you’re doing this, it’s like your period blood smeared on the walls of every bathroom that I walk into. I hate. You’re bleeding all over me and you don’t give a crap. Your mother says you should care, but you don’t. I don’t think you ever will.

To be clear I don’t have my period, you do. I’m not upset because I have my period. I don’t. I’m just upset because you used your period blood as an excuse to cheat. I hate you, you and your period.

Maybe your mother shouldn’t have to me that, maybe she should have kept her mouth shut. I don’t know, all I know is that you shouldn’t have yelled at her. She didn’t cheat on me. She didn’t say, “Hey I’m going to act like I have my period and make your life miserable by leaving you for another woman”

I bet. I must admit I didnt even notice the title until before and I was like "oh god LOL what's this one about? ".

Sometimes, running a forum where potentially censurable or distasteful works are okay is interesting to say the least. I got tired of other places denying work. Or saying it wasnt art or what ever. I already had a few admins from writers forums tell me certain pieces werent "poetry" because they had swear words. I told them "who are you to tell someone their art is not art?"

But yeah, I love this forum and all the members and works in it.

There are certain topics that make us feel uncomfortable when we read them, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't be published.  So good for you.

As for swearing, I had to use swear words in two of my creative writing projects because the characters' dialogue wouldn't be realistic if I left it out. People swear, period. (Excuse the pun)

I didnt see the pun till you said that, and now I'm laughing!

Yeah, my story has this old woman who sailor. It makes my friends uncomfortable, but it's who she is - and changing that would kill her character and it would negatively affect the story. She's only in it for a little anyway.
