We would like to incorporate a blog into our webpage which requires well researched weekly updates (1 article every 3 days which also targets our keywords, i.e. 10 articles per month). Our business is based in the home improvement service industry. The blog postings should appear under 4 different themes, which are as follows:- Save money through home improvement: Energy saving tips like double-glazing, solar power (thermal & electricity), Saving money on central heating, etc. Not just energy saving tips but maybe also things like water saving tips. Whenever a post is written under this theme, it needs to be ensured that the timing is correct (i.e. do not show double-glazing in summer months).- Seasonality themes and issues that are bound to arise in every home: i.e. spring coming up and Garden needs doing (hedges trimming, etc); Problem of rising damp, etc- Make your home nicer: i.e. Building a Swimming Pool, Conservatory, Landscaping the perfect garden; Budget decorating ideas, latest home furnishing trends (that do not just require purchasing of products, but also someone to carry out work for them, i.e. specific flooring, etc)- Promoting partners: For example importance of home insurance and home warranties. Also promoting individual products (like alarm system, specific boilers, car ports, specific facades, metal roofing likehttp://www.home-4family.com/advantages-of-metal-roofing/. (In case an article is written that promotes specific products, I will inform you about the product beforehand). Each article's purpose is to promote a DFY action (Done for you), no DIY (do it yourself)! Each piece needs to be authentic and well researched (with sources where appropriate, i.e. reference to government funding, tax benefits, etc) to add credibility. Each article needs to have an average length of around 300-400 words (really depending on the article) and needs to come with full META tags. Each article needs to include at least one high-quality photo (get it from istockphoto, fotolia, etc). License for image will be paid separately. The winning bidder needs to have a vivid imagination and needs to work very independently. The use of British English is compulsory. We need to be informed about the theme & title of an article before you start writing it (just for us to approve it) but there will be no brainstorming session with us before you write it!Please quote price per hour and clearly state how long you will need per blog post (approximation). Only quote if you are interested in a longer-term commitment. Please state why you are particularly suited for this job, including references of previous work (i.e. knowledge of the home improvement industry, previous writing for DFY/DIY blogs, etc).I don’t want any spammers applying to this job postings, so if you think you’re really well suited for this job, please write a short article about how to put up a fence around your garden (200 words max) and attach the text to your application. Unless you make the effort to complete this simple task your application will not be considered and rejected immediately. If the assignment is done well (and we will judge this quickly), the number of blog postings per month could double!I might hire two people for this job (doing 10 blog postings each), and it would be your obligation to coordinate between each other.
