Since it's already October and Halloween is just around the corner I thought I'd take a moment to know you're favorite horror books of all time. I'm not much of a fan of watching horror movies on Halloween night and I tend to grab my old  classic horror books and just get my spooks like that. So if you have some books you'd like to recommend post it right here!  :D

Anything by Stephen King. I just about lost it reading dreamcatcher, I stayed up for 3 nights straight ha ha. I was like 12 though.

Goosebumps also still scares the shit out of me. The one about the snowmen had me really scared XD.

Definitely Stephen King all the way - Dreamcatcher did for me too  :S

I made the mistake of reading it (at the age of about 19) when my family was away on holiday. In the house, on my own, in the dark... Big mistake. I had to stay up until about 1:30am to finish reading it because I knew I'd have nightmares if I tried to sleep before it was resolved.

I was so disappointed with the film of it, though. I don't watch horror films so much any more but at the time I was really into them and I thought if the book was so terrifying, then the film was guaranteed to be a good thrill, but they messed it around so much  :(

Yeah I pretty much don't like Stephen King's work anymore, except for "The Shining" that book was great and weird and I like it. I've never read "Dreamcatcher" before so I think I'll give this a go this year. Any other book recommendation aside from the King are all welcome :D

Two thumbs up for everything Stephen King! My favorites are The Shining and Pet Sematary. The movie adaptations are really good, too! You can also try reading those classic R.L. Stine stories. They tend to be a bit weird sometimes, but the good ones are really scary!

Yeah I'm kind of over with both authors. I'm not saying they're not good all I'm saying is that, well you know that moment where you kind of expect what's going to happen because you've read so much from the same author that he's psyche is just leaking out from the beginning? Do you have any other in your mind?
