I spend about $8 a month on Netflix, and my sister pays for our Hulu (we share a house). I go to the library a lot, but I still end up buying 4-5 books a month. I rarely buy new books though, so between Goodwill and my local used bookstore I maybe spend about $15 a month on books. I'm a huge cinema fan though, and I build movie tickets into my budget every month. I'm currently doing my masters, so a student ticket here is $7, and my theater has reusable cups for soda, which runs $1.50. I normally buy something from the drugstore and just sneak it in, hidden in my purse (I know, I'm awful). I generally see 4-5 movies a month, sometimes more if there are a lot of good releases. Overall, I'm happy with the amount I spend.

Wow guys. I spend anywhere from $50 to $300 or more on books/movies each month. Hardbacks are usually $40 or more depending, and Andy wants some for himself too. Then movies can start as low as $10 and our Friday nights are all about the movies! So I guess I spend a small fortune.
Wow, where are hardbacks over $40? That's crazy! I rarely buy hardbacks unless it's a book I was dying to read, and absolutely cannot wait for the paperback. Any books I don't buy used I tend to buy off of Amazon, because they give a discount and I have prime shipping- hard to resist the free 2 day shipping!
